Business Applications on 1C

Implementation and development on 1C:Enterprise, from a single accounting system to a group-wide ERP.

A business application is useful when people do their daily work in it and management trusts its numbers. We implement 1C:Enterprise products to that standard: from one accounting system for a single company to an ERP for a group with production, several legal entities and consolidated reporting.

What we deliver

ERP and corporate solutions

1C:ERP, 1C:Holding Management, 1C:ERP Holding Management and 1C:Document Management: production, finance and supply in one system, with consolidation, budgeting and treasury for groups of companies.

Accounting, HR and operations

1C:Accounting, 1C:Payroll and HR Management, 1C:Trade Management and 1C:Small Business Management.

Development

Extensions, reports and print forms that keep the standard configuration updatable.

Which product fits

  • 1C:ERP. For manufacturing and trading companies that need production planning, costing, purchasing, sales, warehouse, finance and payroll in one database.
  • 1C:Holding Management and 1C:ERP Holding Management. For groups of companies: consolidation, reporting under international standards, budgeting, treasury and control of settlements inside the group.
  • 1C:Document Management. Registration and approval of documents, contracts and internal requests, with deadlines under control.
  • 1C:Accounting and 1C:Payroll and HR Management. Accounting, tax reporting, payroll and personnel records for one company or several.
  • 1C:Trade Management. For wholesale and distribution: prices, orders, stock and settlements with customers and suppliers.
  • 1C:Small Business Management. For small companies that want sales, stock, simple production and money in one program.

How a project goes

  1. Survey and scope. We examine the processes to be automated, the current systems and the data, and fix the scope of the first stage in writing.
  2. Specification. Each process is described as it will run in the system: documents, roles, reports and integrations. The specification is reviewed and approved before development starts.
  3. Configuration and development. Standard functions are configured first. What the standard product does not cover is developed as extensions, so that the vendor's updates can still be installed.
  4. Data migration. Master data and balances are transferred from the old systems and reconciled with the source record by record.
  5. Testing on your scenarios. Key users run their own operations from start to finish on their own data. Problems found are fixed before go-live.
  6. Training and go-live. Users are trained by role. In the first weeks of live operation our team works alongside the users.
  7. Handover to support. The system, its documentation and the open questions are handed over to the support team.

Questions clients ask

Can the standard product be used without changes?

Often most of it can. We start from the standard functions and change only what gives a clear benefit, because each change has to be maintained for the whole life of the system.

What happens to the data from our old system?

We transfer master data, opening balances and, where needed, documents of previous periods. After the transfer the totals and the individual records are compared with the source, and the reconciliation report is part of the acceptance.

Will we be able to install updates after your changes?

Yes. Changes are made as extensions and kept separate from the vendor's code, so standard updates are installed in the usual way.

How long does an implementation take?

It depends on the scope. An accounting system for one company is a matter of weeks. An ERP for a manufacturing group is delivered in stages over many months. The schedule with its stages is part of the specification.

Result

People work in the system and the numbers it produces are trusted.
