Who is responsible

The company named at the top of this page runs this website and is responsible for the data it collects: in the words of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Personal Data" it is the owner and the operator of this data. For questions about your data write to office@alarna.com or to the address at the top of the page.

What we collect

In the contact form: your name, email address and the message; the company and the phone number when you give them; the subject you chose and the language of the page. The time the message was sent is stored with it.

The site has no visitor accounts, no mailing lists and no advertising or analytics counters.

Why we use it and on what ground

Only to answer your enquiry. We do not use this data for mailings and do not pass it to other companies for their purposes.

The ground is your consent. You give the data yourself, and before sending you tick the consent box of the form; without the box the form does not send. You can take the consent back at any time: write to office@alarna.com, and we delete the message.

Who sees it and who keeps it

Employees of Alarna who answer enquiries and administer the site see the messages. Two companies keep the data for us and do not use it: the hosting company named at the top of this page, on whose server the site and its database are, and Google, in whose storage (Google Drive of our company account) backup copies are kept. A copy is encrypted before it leaves the server, so it cannot be read in the storage. We pass the data to no one else, except where the law obliges us.

Where it is kept

The server named at the top of this page and the storage of Google can be outside Azerbaijan. By ticking the consent box of the form you agree that your data is kept there.

How we protect it

The pages and the form are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The admin panel, where the messages are read, opens only from the addresses of our office and with a personal password. A backup copy is encrypted before it leaves the server; the passphrase is not kept in the storage.

How long we keep it

A message is deleted 6 months after it was sent. Backup copies of the database, on the server and in the storage of Google, are kept for up to 30 days, so a deleted message leaves the backups within that time. To have a message deleted earlier, write to office@alarna.com.

Cookies and browser storage

The public pages of the site set no cookies. Your choice of the light or dark theme is kept in your browser (local storage) and is not sent to us. Sign-in to the admin panel, which only employees of Alarna use, sets one session cookie.

Technical data

To limit automated requests the site counts messages of the form and searches by the internet (IP) address they come from. A counter covers at most 10 minutes and is removed within a day after that time ends. The web server keeps a log of requests (IP address, time, address of the page, name of the browser) for up to 14 days, to find faults and to protect the site.

Your rights

You can ask whether we hold data about you and what it is, why and how long it is processed and who has access to it; ask us to correct or delete it; object to its processing, after which we stop it; and take your consent back. Write to office@alarna.com from the address you gave in the form: we answer within 7 working days. The law also lets you make such a request on paper, with a document that proves your identity.

If you think your rights were violated, you can complain to the state authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan that supervises personal data, or to a court.

Links to other sites

The pages link to other sites, for example to a map and to the sites of our brands. Their own rules apply there.

Changes

When this text changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
