1C:TMS
Planning and control of cargo transportation: transport demands, routes and trips, vehicles and carriers, tariffs and the execution of every trip.
1C:TMS is the 1C program for transport logistics; its name in Russian is "1С:TMS Логистика. Управление перевозками". It is made for companies that deliver cargo by their own and hired transport, including delivery to the door of the recipient and transportation by several kinds of transport.
What it covers
- Transport demands. Requests for transportation and the transport tasks made from them.
- Route planning. Automatic and manual planning of routes, shown on an electronic map.
- Trips. Formation of trips and control of their execution.
- Resources. Assignment of vehicles and other resources to a transportation.
- Tariffs. The tariff policy of the company.
- Access and reports. Access rights of users, analytics and reports.
Who it suits
Logistics and transport companies, postal and courier operators, distributors with their own delivery, and manufacturers that ship products to customers.
Delivery and licences
1C:TMS is a separate program. It exchanges data with 1C:ERP, 1C:Trade Management and 1C:Integrated Automation (in Russian "1С:Комплексная автоматизация"), and online with 1C:WMS, so the warehouse and the transport work in one flow. Workplaces and the server are licensed separately: see the page about the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform and licences.
What we do
- Survey of transport logistics: kinds of transportation, own and hired vehicles, tariffs.
- Setup of reference data, delivery zones and planning rules.
- Exchange with the accounting system and with 1C:WMS.
- Training of logisticians and dispatchers, and support after go-live.

ERP user training and pilot operation: what to plan
Instructions by role, training on the company's own data, the cost of an inconvenient screen and a pilot with written dates and exit criteria.

What the client signs when an ERP system is accepted
A signed check list shows that functions work. Tests on the future data volume and number of users show whether they will stay fast.

Master data: one item list that planning, the warehouse and accounting can trust
Why duplicate items distort stock, cost and reports at once, who decides what a duplicate is, and why the entry of new items is controlled first.
