1C:LIMS

1C:LIMS is the 1C program for production laboratories, quality services and technical control departments; its name in Russian is "1С:LIMS Управление лабораторией предприятия". It keeps samples, tests and results in one place, so the quality of a batch is confirmed by data and not by a paper journal.

What it covers

• Samples. Registration and tracking of samples at every stage of production.
• Tests and analyses. Laboratory tests and the collection of their results.
• Quality control. Operations of the quality service and of technical control.
• Traceability. Processing of the data and the trace from a result back to its sample.
• Laboratory standards. Work by the rules of laboratory practice, including ISO/IEC 17025.

Who it suits

Plants with discrete and process production that have a laboratory, a quality service or a technical control department. The CORP version is also meant for independent accredited laboratories.

Versions and licences

The Standard and PROF versions are supplied as extensions for 1C:ERP and 1C:Integrated Automation (in Russian "1С:Комплексная автоматизация"). The CORP version is a separate program. Workplaces and the server are licensed separately: see the page about the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform and licences.
